Bioenergy
Bioenergy surrounds every cell and provides a blueprint for our physical body. It also serves as a medium for a flow of information throughout the body. Bioenergy extends outside the physical body, creating a low frequency electromagnetic field around us. Beth is able to see and feel this field (aura), thus detecting the imbalances. By clearing the energy blocks and bringing the flows and fields back to normal, balance between the biochemical & bioenergy components results in improved health. Beth only works with the energy fields and does not touch the body with this type of work.
Qigong
Pronounced "Chi" "gong" meaning energy and is derived from traditional Chinese medicine. Beth uses this to help detect and remove blockages of energy that cause illness and disease; this also increases a person's energy. Beth only works with the energy fields and does not touch the body with this type of work.
Hands On Healing
Through a hands on technique, Beth is able to redirect the energy flows of the body to restore health. This method is especially beneficial for those suffering from migraines or other headaches, Fibromyalgia, many organ problems and other major health problems as well as for relaxation.
Myofascial Release
This is a hands on type of body work which uses pressure into myofascial restrictions to release them and thus eliminate the pain associated with them as well as restore motion.
This process involves working with the fascia which is a clear, three dimensional web from your head to your toes, covering the muscles and wrapping around the muscles, organs, nerves, vessels, and bones. The fascia is all one piece, so every part of your body is connected to the rest.
As you can imagine, if you have a restriction in one area, it will affect many other parts of your body. Restrictions of the fascia are caused by trauma, surgery, poor posture, or inflammation. Over time, these restrictions become exaggerated and cause excessive pain, headaches, and/or restriction of motion.
Since there are currently no modern medical tests available (x-rays and MRIs do not show fascial restrictions) that can image the fascia, many people with chronic pain are told there is nothing wrong with them or that they will just have to live with the pain. For most of these people, Myofascial Release can greatly reduce or eliminate their pain and suffering. Problems that can be relieved are: loss of strength, pain, menstrual problems, back, hip, leg, knee, foot pain, loss of mobility, fibromyalgia, bursitis, arthritis, TMJ, Carpal Tunnel, headaches, emotions, spasms/spasticity and many other problems.

Craniosacral Therapy
The Craniosacral system: brain, spinal cord, cerebrospinal fluid, cranial dural membranes, cranial bones, and sacrum have a very subtle symmetrical rhythm. Restrictions of the bones in the head can cause many symptoms throughout the body. The rhythm and any imbalances can be felt by a perceptive therapist, and the symmetrical balance can be restored to the correct rhythm through Craniosacral techniques.
The brain moves in a physiologic cycle related to our life force. As it moves, it pumps the cerebrospinal fluid through the central nervous system and into every cell of the body. The cranial dural membranes and the sinus also move with the rhythm of this pumping action. The cranial bones respond to this rhythm by moving along the suture lines. Because the dural membranes attach to the sacrum, it too moves in unison with the cranial rhythm. Structural imbalances in the sacrum or cranium will directly affect the other end of the system.
Persons with TMJ, neck or head injuries, headaches, neck or head pain, sinus problems, back problems and many other problems and symptoms can be relieved through Craniosacral Therapy.
Beth often uses Myofascial Release & Energy & Craniosacral Therapy in one session as these techniques complement one another and offer grater pain relief and benefit to the patient. These techniques can also be used to help release and heal old emotional wounds and problems as well as helping to remember past events.
